(Washington, 22 10 2009) - US State Department today released its Report to Congress on Incidents During the Recent Conflict in Sri Lanka. The report covers the period between January and May 2009. It consists of an overview of incidents that happened during the final stage of the conflict. In particular, it reports on Children in Armed Conflict, Harms to Civilians and Civilian Objects, Killing of Captives or Combatants Seeking to Surrender, Disappearances and Humanitarian Conditions.
